I’m running for county commission because i believe in leaving things better than i found them.
I am a proud medivac helicopter pilot and combat veteran. My time overseas helped me view the world differently, shaping my personal and political beliefs.
Through my years of service in the US Army, followed by volunteering with my airline pilots’ union, my mission has consistently been: make processes better, to help as many as I can.
I’m the father of a profoundly autistic child and understand how important public education is and how easy it is for some children to fall through the cracks
I also know how easy it is for adults to be left behind in our attention-pulling and energy-draining economy.
Keeping us distracted and limiting our access to available resources is not how our government should work! Neither red tape nor cumbersome workflows should stand in the way of citizens getting the information they need.
It should be easy to know which agencies do what, and how to contact them. Your needs as a resident should come first, not developers. Your Wilson County government should work for you.
building stronger communities
Increase funding for Wilson County’s Public Schools, Emergency Management, and Sheriff’s Department.
Those who work to make our community great can afford to live in the community they serve while having safe/modern facilities to work in.
This will improve recruitment and retention of talented public servants, making us safer and protecting our shared future.
Enhance development to create safer neighborhoods and accessible commercial areas.
Building with generational growth and development in mind through more shared, public spaces and parks with increased accessibility.
Walkability and alternative transportation options to choose how you move beyond requiring a personal vehicle to work, shop, eat, or connect.
Intelligent road design that keeps traffic moving, safe, and sustainable with minimal maintenance.
Encourage engagement through accessible governance using modern resources.
Local politicians should make interfacing with your government easier and not act as middlemen, gate-keeping you from accessing your tax-funded resources and services.
